It’s all about the mission

It’s all about the mission

Luke 2:25 And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; and this man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ 27 And he came in the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to carry out for Him the custom of the Law, 28 then he took Him into his arms, and blessed God, and said, 29  “Now Lord, Thou dost let Thy bond-servant depart In peace, according to Thy word; 30 For my eyes have seen Thy salvation, 31 Which Thou hast prepared in the presence of all peoples, 32 A light of revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Thy people Israel.”

Jesus is a light to the nations, a light of revelation.

Is. 42:6  “I am the LORD, I have called you in righteousness, I will also hold you by the hand and watch over you, And I will appoint you as a covenant to the people, As a light to the nations,

Is. 49:6 He says,  “It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

John 8:12 Jesus said, “I am the light of the world

John 12:46 “I have come as light into the world, that everyone who believes in Me may not remain in darkness.

Jesus is the message and our mission!

John 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

John 1:9 There was the true light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man.

Acts 13:47  “For thus the Lord has commanded us, I have placed You as a light for the Gentiles, That You should bring salvation to the end of the earth.”

Acts 26:16  ‘But arise, and stand on your feet; for this purpose I have appeared to you, to appoint you a minister and a witness not only to the things which you have seen, but also to the things in which I will appear to you; 17 delivering you from the Jewish people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you, 18 to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, in order that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’ 19  “Consequently, King Agrippa, I did not prove disobedient to the heavenly vision,

1Pet. 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light

Matt. 5:14  “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15  “Nor do men light a lamp, and put it under the peck-measure, but on the lampstand; and it gives light to all who are in the house. “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

THE LIGHT IS SOMETHING WE CHOOSE TO PUT ON, WALK IN AND CARRY

Rom. 13:12 The night is almost gone, and the day is at hand. Let us therefore lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

1Th. 5:5 for you are all sons of light and sons of day.

Eph. 5:8 for you were formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light

John 8:12 Again therefore Jesus spoke to them, saying,  “I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

Phi 2:14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing; 15 so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life

Healing for your Body

Healing for your Body

1Cor. 12:27 now you are christ’s body, and individually members of it.

1Cor. 6:13 food is for the stomach, and the stomach is for food; but god will do away with both of them. yet the body is not for immorality, but for the lord; and the lord is for the body.

The Lord is not obligated to keep that which is not obligated and in service for him.

1Cor. 6:15 do you not know that your bodies are members of christ? shall i then take away the members of christ and make them members of a harlot? may it never be!

Q. Does God want sickness in the body of Christ?

WE ARE NOT ONLY THE BODY OF CHRIST WE ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

1Cor. 6:19 or do you not know that your body is a temple of the holy spirit who is in you, whom you have from god, and that you are not your own? 20 for you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify god in your body.

1Cor. 3:16 do you not know that you are a temple of god, and that the spirit of god dwells in you? 17 if any man destroys the temple of god, god will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.

There are 2 ways to understand this
1. All of us together make up a temple

2. Personally my body is the temple

17 If any man destroys the temple of god, god will destroy him, for the temple of god is holy, and that is what you are.

God wants you to have a strong house

Matt. 21:12 and Jesus entered the temple and cast out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those who were selling doves.
13 and he said to them, “it is written, ‘my house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a robbers’ den.” 14 and the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.

Rom. 14:6 he who observes the day, observes it for the lord, and he who eats, does so for the lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who eats not, for the Lord he does not eat, and gives thanks to god.
7 for not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; 8 for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.

1Cor. 6:19 that you are not your own? 20 for you have been bought with a price (the blood)

Sickness profanes the temple of God

Lev. 21:16 then the Lord spoke to moses, saying, 17 “speak to Aaron, saying, ‘no man of your offspring throughout their generations who has a defect shall approach to offer the bread of his god. 18 ‘for no one who has a defect shall approach: a blind man, or a lame man, or he who has a disfigured face, or any deformed limb, 19 or a man who has a broken foot or broken hand, 20 or a hunchback or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye or eczema or scabs or crushed testicles. 21 ‘no man among the descendants of Aaron the priest, who has a defect, is to come near to offer the lord’s offerings by fire; since he has a defect, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his god. 22 ‘he may eat the bread of his god, both of the most holy and of the holy, 23 only he shall not go in to the veil or come near the altar because he has a defect, that he may not profane my sanctuaries. for I am the Lord who sanctifies them.’”

GOAL SETTING

GOAL SETTING

Hab. 2:2 Then the LORD answered me and said, “Record the vision And inscribe it on tablets, That the one who reads it may run. 3 “For the vision is yet for
the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal, and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay.

Break the vision down into a set of specific goals, steps and tasks

THE BEAUTIFUL NAME OF JESUS Pt 2

THE BEAUTIFUL NAME OF JESUS Pt 2

Phil. 2:9 Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, 11and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Eph 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,

Acts 4:29 And now, Lord, look upon their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants to speak thy word with all boldness, 30 while thy stretchest forth thy hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of thy holy Servant Jesus.

Every believer has the redemptive legal right to use the name of Jesus.

When we pray in his name, not only are we backed up by his authority, we are backed up by his office, his achievements and his anointing.

King – he rules,
Prophet – he commands,
Priest – he intercedes

Eph. 1:18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might (kjv – his mighty power) 20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

Power in vs 19 is the greek word dunamis – it means force, miraculous power, ability, abundance, might, strength, it is power that reproduces itself.

Working in vs 19 is the greek word energia – it means efficiency (“energy”):—operation, strong, (effectual) working. it’s power released

Strength of his might in vs 19 2 greek words
Ischus – it means force; forcefulness ability, might(-ily), power, strength. – power that dominates – kingly power
Kratos – means vigor (“great”) (literally or figuratively):—dominion – power that rules

Eph. 1:20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the one to come. 22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fulness of Him who fills all in all.

1 when you talk about his authority you are talking about all that he accomplished through the cross.

2 when you say, “in Jesus name”, you are backed up by his office.

3 when you say, “in Jesus name”, you are backed up by his achievements.

4 when you say, “in Jesus name” he backs you up with his anointing.

John 14:13 “And whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

Jesus is not only your savior, he is your high priest.

Rom. 8:34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

Rom. 8:37 we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Heb. 7:24 but He, on the other hand, because He abides forever, holds His priesthood permanently. 25 Hence, also, He is able to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

Jesus obtained the authority in his name.

Phil. 2:9 Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,

1 Cor. 12:3, “no man can say Jesus is lord except by the spirit”.

How did he receive that name?

  1. By his deity – col 1:15-18, heb 1:1-3
By virtue of being god and as god only he could obtain this honor.

2.  By his birth – matt 1:23
By his humanity as Savior Matt. 1:21 for it is He who will save His people from their sins.”

3. By his sinlessness – 2 Cor. 5:21
He is the Holy lamb of God.

4. By his anointing – Is. 11:1-2
Because of his humanity and earthly limitations God gave him the fullness of his anointing to accomplish the work on earth.

Is. 11:1 Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, And a branch from his roots will bear fruit. 2And the Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and strength, The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. 3 And He will delight in the fear of the LORD

5. By his achievements – Eph. 1:20-23 by what he accomplished for God and man.

Phil 2:9 Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth,
11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,

6. By his glory – Phil. 2:5 and on

The name of Jesus and it’s free use is the children’s deposit.

Acts 2:21 ‘And it shall be, that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’

Luke 24:47 and that repentance for forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

2Th. 1:11 To this end also we pray for you always that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power; 12 in order that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Beautiful Name of JESUS Pt 1

The Beautiful Name of JESUS

We receive people in his name (Matt 18:5)
We are persecuted because of his name (Luke 17:21)
Ministry is to be done in his name (Mk 16:17)

Every believer has the redemptive legal right to use the name of Jesus

The name of Jesus gives authority for prayer to be legally answered.

The name of Jesus empowers prayer to be answered.

Matt. 18:19 “Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. 20 “For where two or three have gathered together in My name, there I am in their midst.”

There is no agreement without his name and there is no agreement without his presence.

Matt. 18:20 “For where two or three have gathered together in My name, there I am in their midst.”

Agreement is impossible without his name and his presence.

John 14:12 “Truly, truly, (I vow, I vow) I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to the Father.
13 “And whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

John 14:15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16 “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever;

It’s impossible to do greater unless you believe on him.
It’s impossible to pray effectively without his name.
It’s impossible to pray and see results without the Spirit.

John 15:16 “you did not choose me, but i chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask of the father in my name, he may give to you.

His name gives you the ability to go and bear fruit

John 15:6 “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch, and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you. 8 “By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.

Without his name and presence there is no agreement.
Without faith (believing) your prayer has no effect.
Without out his name there’s no results.
When there is no results, there is no fruit

John 16:23 “And in that day you will ask Me no question. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you shall ask the Father for anything, He will give it to you in My name.

He has given us the unlimited use of his name

Reading lips does not require breath.

All that the Father is and has, has been invested in the name “Jesus”.

You and I have unlimited use of that name. You can use that name freely.

1 Cor. 3:21So then let no one boast in men. For all things belong to you, 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things to come; all things belong to you, 23 and you belong to Christ; and Christ belongs to God.

Everything belongs to you and you belong to him and you and he belong to God.

Nlt Gal. 3:28 There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male or female. For you are all Christians—you are one in Christ Jesus. 29 And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and now all the promises God gave to him belong to you.

“4 Laws for a financial flow”

“4 Laws for a financial flow”

1. THE LAW OF SOURCE

GOD IS YOUR SOURCE
James 1:17 Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow.

Phil 4:19 my God shall supply all your needs according to ?

WHAT YOU LOOK TO REVEALS WHAT YOU BELIEVE YOUR SOURCE IS

IF YOU’RE LOOKING TO GOD YOU PUT NO PRESSURE ON PEOPLE!

HE IS THE SOURCE OF REST… Matt 11:28

HE IS THE SOURCE OF JOY… Neh 8:10

HE IS THE SOURCE OF LIFE… John 10:10

2. THE LAW OF THE SEED
YOUR SEED IS THE HOLY INFLUENCE YOU HAVE OVER YOUR FUTURE

Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.

Phillips trans; A mans harvest in life depends entirely on what he sows

2 Cor 9:6 Now this I say, he who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully.

YOU ARE A WAREHOUSE OF SEED…

YOU CAN GIVE YOURSELF INTO SUPERNATURAL SUPPLY

3. THE LAW OF THE SOIL
EVERY SEED IS POWERLESS UNTIL IT ENTERS INTO AND AGREEMENT WITH SOIL

Mark 4:28 The soil produces the crops by itself; first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head. 29 But when the crop permits, he immediately puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.

THE QUALITY OF THE SOIL DETERMINES THE FUTURE OF THE SEED.

4. THE LAW OF SUPPLY

Matt 7:11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him.

Phil 4:19 And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

“Your Storehouses” Pt 4

“Positioned to make a difference”

Deut. 28:8 The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand…

GOD WANTS US TO OPERATE IN HIS CYCLE OF BLESSING!

JESUS PARABLE OF THE TEN VIRGINS SPEAKS OF THE WISDOM OF RESERVES OR STOREHOUSES.

GOD WILL WORK THROUGH OUR PREPARATIONS.

THE JOSEPH PRINCIPLE IS BUILT ON 3 KEY TRUTHS.
1. There are cycles of prosperity and recession in every economy
2. During times of prosperity, surplus should be saved and not consumed
3. In times of recession, that surplus can be multiplied in to more wealth as it is used to meet the needs of others

THE ECONOMY LIKE THE WEATHER COMES IN SEASONS & CYCLES (Eccl 3)
THERE’S A TIME TO PUT MORE IN & A TIME TO PUT LESS IN
THERE’S A TIME TO GIVE OUT OF IT AND A TIME TO REPLINISH
A TIME TO SAVE CONSERVATIVELY AND A TIME TO BE BUILD AGGRESSIVELY.

THE ANT – Prov. 6:6 Go to the ant, O sluggard, Observe her ways and be wise,

7 Which, having no chief, Officer or ruler, 8 Prepares her food in the summer And gathers her provision in the harvest.

THE ANT IS NOT JUST THINKING ABOUT TODAY BUT SHE’S PREPARING FOR TOMORROW.

THE ANT NEVER STOPS WORKING ON HER STOREHOUSE AND ALWAYS HAS MORE THAN ENOUGH

ANTS DON’T LIVE IN DENIAL, CONSUMING ALL THEY HAVE TODAY

EVEN IF THE ANT CAN ONLY PUT ONE GRAIN AT A TIME INTO THE STOREHOUSE, SHE STILL DOES IT.

THE ANTS STOREHOUSES ARE IN A LARGE NETWORK OF UNDERGROUND TUNNELS (

THE ANTS STOREHOUSES HAVE DIFFERENT PURPOSES

ANTS DON’T EXPECT ANYONE ELSE TO TAKE CARe OF THEM

A STOREHOUSE SHOULD NOT ONLY BE A BLESSING FOR OUR SELVES BUT A RESOURCE OF BLESSING TO TOUCH OTHERS.

WITHOUT A STOREHOUSE WE ARE SUBCONCIOUSLY PLANNING FOR SOMEBODY ELSE TO TAKE CARE OF US.

START BUILDING A STOREHOUSE FOR YOUR FUTURE TODAY!
A SPIRITUAL STOREHOUSE
A NATURAL STOREHOUSE
A MENTAL STOREHOUSE

YOU HAVE TO BE WILLING AND OBEDIENT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE NOT WHAT YOU HOPE TO HAVE SOMEDAY.

“Your Storehouses” Pt 3

“The Principle of Preparation”

Deut 28:8 The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand…

1 Chr 29:1Then King David said to the entire assembly, “My son Solomon, whom alone God has chosen, is still young and inexperienced and the work is great; for the temple is not for man, but for the Lord God.

DAVID WANTED A PLACE FOR GOD THAT HE WOULD FEEL COMFORTABLE IN

2 Now for the house of my God I have prepared with all my might: gold for things to be made of gold, silver for things of silver, bronze for things of bronze, iron for things of iron, wood for things of wood, onyx stones, stones to be set, glistening stones of various colors, all kinds of precious stones, and marble slabs in abundance. 3 Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver:

1 Chr 22 DAVID PREPARED FROM THE NATIONAL TREASURY; THIS IS FROM HIS OWN STOREHOUSE!

4 three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses

DAVIDS OWN STOREHOUSE $5,760,000,000 IN GOLD – 179,200,000 IN SILVER = (5,939,200,000 TOTAL)

TOTAL BETWEEN THE NATIONAL TREASURY & DAVID WOULD BE ALMOST 200 BILLION IN GOLD & 2 TRILLION IN SILVER

6 Then the leaders of the fathers’ houses, leaders of the tribes of Israel, the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the officers over the king’s work, offered willingly. 7 They gave for the work of the house of God five thousand talents and ten thousand darics of gold, ten thousand talents of silver, eighteen thousand talents of bronze, and one hundred thousand talents of iron. 8 And whoever had precious stones gave them to the treasury of the house of the Lord, into the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.

9,600,000. IN GOLD – 3,560,000 IN DARICS – 256,000,000 IN SILVER

9 Then the people rejoiced, for they had offered willingly, because with a loyal heart they had offered willingly to the Lord; and King David also rejoiced greatly. 10 Therefore David blessed the Lord before all the assembly; and David said: “Blessed are You, Lord God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever. 11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, And You are exalted as head over all. 12 Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all. 13 “Now therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name. 14 But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You.

THE PLAN WAS FROM GOD
Ch 28:19 “All this”, said David, “The Lord made me understand in writing by His hand upon me, all the details of this pattern”

GOD IS NOT OFFENDED BY MONEY.

GOD PUT THE WEALTH OF THIS WORLD HERE FOR THE CHURCH.
HE PUT IT HERE FOR US TO USE IT WISELY AND PROPERLY DISTRIBUTE IT FOR HIS GLORY.

GOD IS A GOD OF RESERVES… A GOD OF STOREHOUSES
Ps 33:7 He gathers the waters of the sea into jars;
he puts the deep into storehouses.

Mal 3:10 MENTIONS THE TITHE GOING INTO THE STOREHOUSE…

A STOREHOUSE IS A FOUNDATION UPON WHICH WE CAN ESTABLISH THE KINGDOM AND THAT INCLUDES OUR PERSONAL LIVES.

Matt 24 – PARABLE OF THE TEN VIRGINS (5 Foolish, 5 Prudent)

WHAT DO YOU HAVE PLANTED FOR THE FUTURE?

Prov 13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, And the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.

THERE’S STABILITY IN STOREHOUSES.

Amp Prov 13:11 He who gathers little by little will increase (his riches)

WHEN YOUR LIFE ENDS WHAT LEGACY WILL YOU LEAVE BEHIND?

Gen 12:2 And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you,
And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing; 3 And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”

TRAINING WHEELS OF FAITH PT 2

“The left wheel of Thanksgiving”

Prov. 16:23 the heart of the wise teaches his mouth, and adds persuasiveness to his lips.

we want to develop the habit of connecting our mouth to what we believe.

THE RIGHT TRAINING WHEEL OF FAITH IS LOVE

Rom. 5:5 the love of god has been poured out within our hearts

our love walk plays a huge role in our spiritual development

the only way i can walk in love towards you is to respond from my heart

every time you respond to a situation by walking in love you are developing your spirit and creating the habit of responding from what’s in you.

the left training wheel of faith that helps develop the habit of responding from your heart is thanksgiving.

Heb. 13:15 through him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to god, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to his name.

2 cor 4:13 i believe therefore i speak

thanksgiving helps develop the habit of hooking your mouth up to what you believe.

Psa. 100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise. give thanks to him; bless his name.

2Tim. 3:1 but realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 for men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,

if you want to be strong in faith learn to cultivate the habit of being thankful, being grateful.

Mark 11:24 “therefore i say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted *you.

Ex. John 11:40 Jesus responded, “didn’t I tell you that you will see God’s glory if you believe?” 41 So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, thank you for hearing me. 42 You always hear me, but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so they will believe you sent me.”
43 Then Jesus shouted, “Lazarus, come out!”

Phil. 4:6 be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to god. 7 and the peace of god, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

1Th. 5:18 in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

thanksgiving is done verbally with the mouth and with actions of gratitude.

NLT Psa. 119:7 When I learn your righteous laws, I will thank you by living as I should!

Col. 3:17 and whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to god the father.

when you pray in the spirit paul say’s, you give thanks well. (1 cor 14:17)

Eph. 5:17 so then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the lord is. 18 and do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the lord; 20 always giving thanks for all things in the name of our lord Jesus Christ to god, even the father;

thanksgiving is a habit you can cultivate in order to learn to continually respond from your heart.

Luke 17:11 and it came about while he was on the way to Jerusalem, that he was passing between Samaria and galilee. 12 and as he entered a certain village, ten leprous men who stood at a distance met him; 13 and they raised their voices, saying, “Jesus, master, have mercy on us!” 14 and when he saw them, he said to them, “go and show yourselves to the priests.” and it came about that as they were going, they were cleansed. 15 now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying god with a loud voice, 16 and he fell on his face at his feet, giving thanks to him. And he was a Samaritan. 17 and Jesus answered and said, “were there not ten cleansed? But the nine — where are they? 18 “Was no one found who turned back to give glory to god, except this foreigner?” 19 and he said to him, “rise, and go your way; your faith has made you well.”

thanksgiving coresponds with giving glory to god

Rom. 4:20 Yet, with respect to the promise of god, he did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God
