“Salvation & Healing”

Deut 7:12 Then it shall come about, because you listen to these judgments and keep and do them, that the Lord your God will keep with you His covenant and His lovingkindness which He swore to your forefathers. 13 He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your herd and the young of your flock, in the land which He swore to your forefathers to give you. 14 You shall be blessed above all peoples; there will be no male or female barren among you or among your cattle. 15 The Lord will remove from you all sickness; and He will not put on you any of the harmful diseases of Egypt which you have known, but He will lay them on all who hate you.

YOU CANNOT SEPARATE THE LOVE OF GOD FROM HEALING & PROVISION

Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

James 1:17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

Ps 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits,

The God of our salvation!

Ps 103:1 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits; 3 Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases

SALVATION MEANS SOUNDNESS, WHOLENESS IN EVERY AREA OF LIFE.  DELIEVERANCE FROM TEMPORAL AND ETERNAL DANGER.

Ex. ISRAEL APPLIED THE BLOOD

Ps 105:37 Then He brought them out with silver and gold, And among His tribes there was not one who stumbled.

THE NAME OF JESUS!

Acts 3:1 Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the ninth hour, the hour of prayer. 2 And a man who had been lame from his mother’s womb was being carried along, whom they used to set down every day at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, in order to beg alms of those who were entering the temple. 3 When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he began asking to receive alms. 4 But Peter, along with John, fixed his gaze on him and said, “Look at us!” 5 And he began to give them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. 6 But Peter said, “I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!” 7 And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened. 8 With a leap he stood upright and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.

16 And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.

Acts 4:4 But many of those who had heard the message believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.

4:10 let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by this name this man stands here before you in good health. 11He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the chief corner stone. 12 And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

THIS STATEMENT MAKES IT CLEAR TO US THAT THE NAME OF JESUS BOTH HEALS AND SAVES!

“Who has believed?” Pt 2

Rom 10:16 However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

John 12:37 But though He had performed so many signs before them, yet they were not believing in Him. 38 This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet which he spoke: “Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our message (Report)? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

THE ARM OF THE LORD IS SYMBOLIC AND REPRESENTS THE MANIFEST POWER OF GOD.

IN Isaiah 51:9 IT IS THE STRENGHT OF GOD.

“Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord;”

52:10 IT IS THE SALVATION OF GOD

“The Lord has bared His holy arm In the sight of all the nations,

That all the ends of the earth may see The salvation of our God.”

YLT 53:1Who hath given credence to that which we heard? And the arm of Jehovah, On whom hath it been revealed?

Isaiah 53:3 He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows (Pains) and acquainted with grief (Sickness); And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

4 Surely our griefs (Sicknesses 10) He Himself bore, And our sorrows (Pains) He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted.  5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. 6 All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him 7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He did not open His mouth; Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, So He did not open His mouth. 8 By oppression and judgment He was taken away; And as for His generation, who considered That He was cut off out of the land of the living For the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke was due? 9 His grave was assigned with wicked men, Yet He was with a rich man in His deaths (PLURAL), Because He had done no violence, Nor was there any deceit in His mouth. 10 But the Lord was pleased To crush (Bruise) Him, putting Him to grief (Sickness); If He would render Himself as a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, And the good pleasure of the Lord will prosper in His hand. 11 As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, As He will bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the booty with the strong; Because He poured out Himself to death, And was numbered with the transgressors; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the transgressors.

Isaiah 52:14 Just as many were astonished at you, My people, So His appearance was marred more than any man And His form more than the sons of men.

YLT 3 He is despised, and left of men, A man of pains, and acquainted with sickness, And as one hiding the face from us, He is despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely our sicknesses he hath borne, And our pains–he hath carried them, And we–we have esteemed him plagued, Smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 And he is pierced for our transgressions, Bruised for our iniquities, The chastisement of our peace [is] on him, And by his bruise there is healing to us.

“THE GATES OF GRATITUDE”

KJV Luke 17:11 And it came about while he was on the way to Jerusalem, that he was passing between Samaria and Galilee. 12 and as he entered a certain village, ten leprous men who stood at a distance met him; 13 And they raised their voices, saying, “Jesus, master, have mercy on us!” 14 And when he saw them, he said to them, “go and show yourselves to the priests.” and it came about that as they were going, they were cleansed. 15 Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice, 16 and he fell on his face at his feet, giving thanks to him. And he was a Samaritan. 17 And Jesus answered and said, “were there not ten cleansed? but the nine — where are they? 18 “Was no one found who turned back to give glory to God, except this foreigner?” 19 And he said to him, “rise, and go your way; your faith has made you well.”

GRATITUDE BECOMES A LIFESTYLE

THANKSGIVING; MEANS BLESSING.

PSA. 34:1 I Will bless the lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear it and rejoice.

Psa. 34:3 o magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together

Psa 35:18   I will thank you in front of the entire congregation. I will praise you before all the people.

Psa. 92:1 It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High. 2 It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening,

Psa100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise.

VS 4, GOES ON TO SAY, “Give thanks to him and bless his name.

Psa 136:1 Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever. 2 Give thanks to the God of gods. His faithful love endures forever. 3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords. His faithful love endures forever.

THE RECEIVING HEART IS THE THANKFUL HEART.

VALUE AND APPRECIATE WHAT GOD GIVES YOU.

JESUS GAVE THANKS FOR THAT LITTLE BOY’S LUNCH.

NEVER DISPISE SMALL BEGININGS!

I Ain’t Doing It

1Sam. 17:26 Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”

Romans 12:18-19 If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to God’s wrath, for it is written; “Vengeance is mine. I will repay, “ says the Lord.

Romans 12:21 Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good

John 10:4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

John 10:5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”

Matthew 16:22 AMP Then Peter took him aside to speak to him privately and begin to reprove and charge him sharply saying. God forbid Lord! This must never happen to you!

Eph. 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Eph. 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

2Cor. 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.

2Cor. 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

2Cor. 10:5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ

1 Samuel 17:32 David says to Saul, “Let no man’s heart fail because of him. Your servant will go and fight with this Philistine.”

1 Samuel 17:33 Saul said to David, “You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him. For you are but a youth, and he has been a man of war from his youth.”

1 Samuel 17:34-37 David said to Saul, “Your servant was a shepherd for my father’s flock, and the lion came and the bear, and took a lamb out of the flock. And I went out after him, and struck him, and delivered it out of his mouth. And when he arose against me, I took hold of his beard, struck him, and killed him. Your servant slew both the lion and the bear. And this uncircumcised Philistine will be as one of them because he has reviled the armies of the living God. David said, ‘The Lord who delivered me out of the paw of the lion and out of the paw of the bear, He will deliver me out of the hand of the Philistine.”

Matt. 12:34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Matt. 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.

Matt. 12:36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.

Matt. 12:37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Proverbs 18:20-22 A man’s moral self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth; and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied [whether good or evil]. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].

Mark 11:22-24 …Have faith in God. For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says.

Romans 8:31…If God be for you, who can be against you.

1 Samuel 17:45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a shield, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have reviled.

1 Samuel 17:46-47 This day will the Lord deliver you into my hand, And I will strike you down and cut off your head. Then I will give the corpses of the Philistine camp this day to the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth so that all heaven may know that there is a God in Israel. And then all this assembly will know that it is not by sword and spear that the Lord saves. For the battle belongs to the Lord, and He will give you into our hands.

1 Samuel 18:28-29 When Saul saw and knew that the Lord was with David, and that Michal, his daughter, loved him, Saul was yet more afraid of David and Saul became the enemy of David continually.

“Who has believed?”

Rom 10:6 But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down), 7 or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).” 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,

1 Pet 2:24 and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.

GOD’S WORD IS NOT ONLY THE REVELATION OF HIS WILL BUT IT IS CREATIVE POWER.

Rom 10:14 How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? 15 How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!” 16 However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

Eph 1:19 “Surpassing greatness of His power”   toward us who believe – 20 “the same power he used to raise Jesus from the dead and seat him far above’

1Thess 2:13 For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe.

Isaiah 53:3 He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows (Pains) and acquainted with grief (Sickness); And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

4 Surely our griefs (Sicknesses) He Himself bore, And our sorrows (Pains) He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted.

Vs 4 “Surely our sicknesses He Himself bore, and our pains he carried.”

9 His grave was assigned with wicked men, Yet He was with a rich man in His death (PLURAL), Because He had done no violence, Nor was there any deceit in His mouth. 10 But the Lord was pleased To crush Him, putting Him to grief (Sickness); If He would render Himself as a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, And the good pleasure of the Lord will prosper in His hand.
