Wisdom: How To Get It
AMP Eph 5:15 Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), 16 Making the very most of the time[buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil.
KJV redeeming the time
THE KEY TO REDEEMING TIME IS THE WISDOM OF GOD
Col 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time.
TEV Be wise in the way you act. Making use of every good opportunity you have.
2 MOST IMPORTANT THINGS TO LEARN IN LIFE. WHAT’S IMPORTANT AND WHAT’S NOT
Eccl 8:5 He who keeps a royal command experiences no trouble, for a wise heart knows the proper time and procedure.
TEV “as long as you obey his commands you are safe. And a wise person knows how and when to do it. There is a right time and a right way to do everything but we know so little.
Jer 10:23 I know, O Lord, that a man’s way is not in himself, Nor is it in a man who walks to direct his steps.
Prov 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
IF WE CAN LEARN TO BE LEAD WE WILL SAVE LOTS OF TIME.
PAY ATTENTION TO THOSE THOUGHTS INSIDE OF YOU…
WISDOM IS KNOWING WHAT’S IMPORTANT AND IGNORING THE DISTRACTIONS…
Eph said, “Making the most of the opportunities”… seizing and buying up the opportunities”
HOW CAN I GET IT?
Prov 4:5 Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth.
6 “Do not forsake her, and she will guard you; Love her, and she will watch over you.
7 “The beginning of wisdom is: Acquire wisdom; And with all your acquiring, get understanding. 8 “Prize (WISDOM), and WISDOM will exalt you; WISDOM will honor you if you embrace WISDOM. 9 “WISDOM will place on your head a garland of grace; WISDOM will present you with a crown of beauty.” 10 Hear, my son, and accept my sayings And the years of your life will be many. 11 I have directed you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in upright paths. 12 When you walk, your steps will not be impeded; And if you run, you will not stumble. 13 Take hold of instruction; do not let go. Guard WISDOM, for WISDOM is your life. 14 Do not enter the path of the wicked And do not proceed in the way of evil men.
18 But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until the full day.
James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask in faith without any doubting,
