1. Praise is something we Put On
Is. 61:1Message The Spirit of GOD, the Master, is on me because GOD
He sent me to preach good news to the poor, heal the heartbroken,
Announce freedom to all captives, pardon all prisoners.
Is. 61:2 GOD sent me to announce the year of his grace—a celebration of
God’s destruction of our enemies—and to comfort all who mourn,
Is. 61:3 To care for the needs of all who mourn in Zion, give them bouquets
of roses instead of ashes, Messages of joy instead of news of doom, a
praising heart instead of a languid spirit. (KJV-actually says to give them a
‘garment’ of praise for the spirit of heaviness) Rename them “Oaks of
Righteousness” planted by GOD to display his glory.
Is. 61:4 They’ll rebuild the old ruins, raise a new city out of the wreckage.
They’ll start over on the ruined cities, take the rubble left behind and make
Esther 5:1Amp “On the third day [of the fast] Esther put on her royal robes
an stood in the royal or inner court of the king’s palace opposite his
[throne room]. The king was sitting on his throne, facing the main entrance
of the palace.”
Heb. 13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise
to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

2. Praise is Partnered with Passion
2 Tim 1:6Amp That is why I would remind you to stir up (rekindle the
embers of, fan the flame of , and keep burning] the [gracious] gift of God,
[the inner fire] that isin you by means of the laying on of my hands [with
those of the elder at your ordination].
3. Praise is Pretty on you! Appropriate
Psalm 147:1Amp Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing prasies to our God,
for He is gracious and lovely; praise is becoming and appropriate.
Psalm 33:1Amp Rejoice in the Lord, O you [uncompromisingly] righteous
[you upright in right standing with God]; for praise is becoming and
appropriate for those who are upright [in heart].
Psalm 34:1NASV I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise shall
continually be in my mouth.
4. Praise promotes God’s participation in your life.
Psa. 22:3NKJV But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.
5. Praise will preserve you or repair you!
Jonah 2:9Amp “ But as for me, I will sacrifice to You with the voice of
thanksgiving; I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation and deliverance
belong to the Lord.”
