Prov 4:20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Do not let them depart from your sight; Keep them in the midst of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them
And health to all their body.
THE HEBREW WORD HEALTH: IS MEDICINE
TPT 21 Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit. 22 Then, as you unwrap my words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being.
GOD’S WORD IS THE BEST MEDICINE
HEALING IS NOT ABOUT GETING GOD TO GIVE YOU SOMETHING. HEALING IS SOMETHING WE RECEIVE BECAUSE IT’S ALREADY BEEN PROVIDED.
GOD CAN ONLY MANIFEST WHAT YOU RECEIVE.
WE PERFORM THE ACT OF RECEIVING BY SAYING, “I BELIEVE I RECEIVE IT”
AMP PHM 1:6 [And I pray] that the participation in and sharing of your faith may produce and promote full recognition and appreciation and understanding and precise knowledge of every good [thing] that is ours in [our identification with] Christ Jesus [and unto His glory].
1 Pet 2:24 and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you werehealed.
TPT Our instant healing flowed from his wounding.
WNT By His wounds yours have been healed
MSG His wounds became your healing.
THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD… YOU DON’T HAVE TO ASK, LORD HEAL ME IF IT’S YOUR WILL.
WHEN YOU PUT THE WORD OF GOD IN YOUR MOUTH YOU ARE ACTING ON THE SOVERIGN POWER OF GOD’S PLAN AND WILL.
Matt 8:17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: “He Himself took our infirmities and carried away our diseases (Sicknesses).”
WNT “He took on Him our weaknesses, and bore the burden of our diseases.”
NLT “He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases.”
Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of parched ground; He has no stately form or majesty That we should look upon Him, Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him.
3 He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
YLT He is despised, and left of men, A man of pains, and acquainted with sickness, And as one hiding the face from us, He is despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted.
YLT 4 Surely our sicknesses he hath borne, And our pains–he hath carried them, And we–we have esteemed him plagued, Smitten of God, and afflicted.
TPT 4 Yet he was the one who carried our sicknesses and endured the torment of our sufferings.
AMP 4 Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].
5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed.
NLT He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
YLT And by his bruise there is healing to us.
AMP the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
TPT He endured the punishment that made us completely whole,
and in his wounding we found our healing.
10 But the Lord was pleased To crush Him, putting Him to grief (SICKNESS);
